How quickly will Shaesby jewelry be crafted and delivered?
Our jewelry is made carefully by hand to order. Please allow up to 1-2 weeks for production and delivery. Contact us if your purchase needs to be rushed so that we can confirm if it is possible.
What shipping options do you offer?
We offer complimentary UPS ground shipping anywhere in the continental US. If your purchase needs to be expedited, please check in with us at email@example.com or call us at 512-453-7671 to confirm if your order can be rushed in production. If so, we are happy to expedite shipping for an additional fee.
What is your return policy?
We’re confident that you’ll love your jewelry, and you’re welcome to take it home and try it for 30 days. If you’re not completely satisfied, we will cover your return shipping. Bridal and custom jewelry are final sale.
What shipping service do you use?
We use UPS for all ground shipments and FedEx for return and expedited shipments.
Insurance & Warranties
Do you provide insurance?
We recommend insuring your jewelry, but we do not provide insurance at Shaesby.
Caring For Your Jewelry
How do I properly clean and care for my jewelry?
Never wear your jewelry in chlorinated or treated water. The chemicals can permanently damage gold and silver. Please remove jewelry when exercising or doing any kind of strenuous activity. We recommend that you remove jewelry before applying personal products like hair spray or lotion. These products can be harmful to jewelry and cause jewelry to need cleaning more often than usual. To clean your jewelry at home, use hot water and mild soap or liquid laundry detergent. Scrub out lotion and dirt with an old toothbrush. You can use a polishing cloth on the shiny areas of your jewelry. Keep in mind polishing cloths will darken Shaesby’s sandblast finish, rather than brightening. What is your repair policy?
We stand by the quality of our craft. We’ll make any necessary repairs and even cover the shipping costs. Repairs may require materials and/or labor charges and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
I lost an earring. Can I order a single earring?
Yes! We will happily make a mate for you. The cost will be half of the current retail price. To ensure that your new earring will match, we request that you ship back your existing earring. Please contact us for shipping arrangements. Make a mates for earrings using gemstones are subject to availability.
Materials & Tools
What is blackened (oxidized) silver?
Blackened or oxidized silver is often used in our mixed metal pieces. Silver can be blackened when it is exposed to oxygen and sulfur in a pressurized environment. Oxidizing silver creates a tarnish that it would naturally evolve to.
Oxidized silver has a tendency to fade over time and develop a worn patina. We will happily re-oxidize your jewelry if desired, free of charge.
Are Shaesby’s materials ethically sourced?
Yes. We are committed to sourcing ethical materials.
Will the jewelry I order look exactly like the online photo?
All of the handcrafted pieces on our shop page are made to order. Given the unique and natural qualities of the materials and gemstones, your piece may be slightly different than what is pictured.
